“WHO WILL CRY, WHEN YOU DIE“, ROBIN SHARMA BOOK, SUMMARY, AND LESSONS
Book Summary
“Who will cry, when you die” is a fantastic book on personality. It's an awesome, awesome book. After reading this book I become a fan of Robin Sharma. He has given 101 amazing tips to improve his personality. These techniques are quite easy and actionable. I must recommend you to read this book.
Who will
cry when you die is an important question, you must think of. But it's not too
easy as it looks. It's not about that how many people will come to your funeral
and how many people will cry when you die. But it's about that what you have left
behind you after your death. It’s quite a different way to see life. Many people
see their life as a race from start to finish line.
But it’s
the way to see the last of your life. And about that what you have done with
your precarious time in your life? This is the idea of the book who will cry
when you die? In this book, the writer has given us short 101 lessons that help
us to live our life better. There are too many lessons that I can't explain so
I am in this summary only sharing 10 of the most important lessons that are
more important according to me. But for all lessons, you can read this book.
Lesson no
1.
Maintain
your perspective
In this
lesson, the writer has written a story of two old men. They are admitted to the
hospital. One is toward the window side. He always tells other men stories of what's
going on behind the window. So other men feel jealous of him that he can see
outside. One day that one window old man feal cough. So that man doesn’t call
the doctor. So he died. Then that man shifts towards the window side. Then he
sees that there is nothing except the wall. That man tells him stories to make
him happy.
We make
mistakes when we lose our perspective. Like some people have great problems but
on the other sight, it's small.
Lesson no 2
Practice
tough love.
the writer
has said, “ the tougher you are with yourself, the easier your life will be.”
Tough love means that you have a clear boundary of yourself that what types of
things you have to do. Many people have a misunderstanding successful people
that are doing their own will work but it's not true. But they have this habit
that they do that work it doesn’t matter whether this work is according to
their will or not.
When some
people get up morning then they think about what their hearts doing to do or
what they have to do in compulsion. But successful people do that work that he
thinks will help them in the long matter.
Lesson no 3
Develop an
honesty policy
We have
heard a story of “ Honesty is the best policy”.
I think we have listened to this story too many times that we forget its
real meaning. Most people don’t tell big lies although the problem is that little
lies speak to us. So it’s a bad habit. To remove this habit Robbin Sharma has
recommended a seven-day truth fast in which for seven days you speak to
everyone.
Lesson no 4
Recruit a
board of directors
Every
company has a board of directors. Every director has expertise in his field.
Similarly, our life is also a company. So, do some meditation and ask for the
answers from your board of directors that are within you. For example, think
that you are taking advice from someone that how you can innovate in your
company. So imagine and ask the question and get the answer from your brain.
Lesson no
5
Go on a
news fast
Most people
are addicted to the news. They try to know every time what's going on. So Robbin
Sharma recommends us to news fast. He says that you don’t have to listen to or
watch any news from any news channel. Then you realize that also now you are
not unaware. You will get interesting things by talking to people. but you also
notice that your stress is finished and you are now more focused on your work.
Lesson no
6
Write a legacy statement
Successful
people before denying write a legacy statement. So you should also write your
legacy statement that after you what people will say about you. And make your
actions according to that.
Lesson no 7
Be more
than your mood
Many
peoples are a slave to their moods. They want to do something but they have not
in the mood of doing to that work. So, don’t depend on your mood. Think about
the results of that work. Then you will see your mood is become good and do
that work.
Lesson no
8
Be humble
You have
seen that all most all the successful are humble. They have left their legacy.
So, be humble. Humble means that you haven’t ego and you know that your success
depends on your mindset, hard work, and luck.
Lesson no 9
Rewrite
your life story
If you are
not satisfied with your life. Rewrite your life story and start changing your
life according to that. Take good actions and do respect your past and start
writing about what you want to do with your life. What you want to become and
then start working on that. You will see how easily you have changed your life.
Lesson no
10
Live Fully so You Can Die, Happy,
Most people
don’t discover themselves until they die. We are living a life full of
distractions and busyness. We are not available for ourselves. So, for yourself
try to live happily. Find happiness in every moment of life. No one can make
you happy except you. Try to live yourself. You will find real happiness.

Great job 👍
ReplyDeleteSo, basically, I'm assuming how you deconstructed a very thoughtful book in very easy mode for a general reader like me who always wish to have enough self motivation to conquer the situation and bad things in life. However we all try for better in our perceptional context but unfortunately we never succeed to amuse moments of gratitude.
ReplyDeleteThanks for writing such a lovely note.
